Inspired by the Rainforest Strata, three major landscape zone was created, e.g. Rainforest Lounge, E-Deck and Sky Park. Each landscape zone was crafted based on the unique character of corresponding strata, e.g. Forest Floor, Understorey Layer and Emergent Layer. Both flora and fauna in the rainforest have to compete among themselves for the supply of sunlight, water, nutrient/ food and space, which is a close resemblance to the site constraint faced by the landscape architect in designing the space. Through the selection of nature-oriented hardscape finishing, the careful mixture of both native and imported plant species are key components in creating a unique yet sustainable landscape environment.
